If you are a Digimaze customer or subscriber, or just visiting our website, this policy applies to you.

Our responsibilities

Any data collected through this website, including personal data as defined under applicable data protection laws, will only be used for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. We may use information that does not identify you, including information that has been aggregated or de-identified, for any purpose except as prohibited by applicable law. When data is collected on this website, Digimaze is acting as a data controller.

Your responsibilities

Please read this Privacy Policy. If you are our customer, also check the contracts between us, including the Data Processing Agreement available on request at privacyofficer@digimaze.io, as they may contain further detail on how we collect and process your data.

If you provide us with personal information about other people, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided. By submitting the information, you confirm that you have the right to authorise us to process it on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

• Contact details, such as your name, email address, and role in your company.
• Data that identifies you, such as your IP address, login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types, geolocation, and operating system.
• Data on how you use Digimaze, such as your URL clickstreams, pages viewed, page response times, download errors, how long you stay on our pages, and other actions.
• Metadata from your teams, such as data sources and destinations, types of data, business processes, hosting location, and security measures.

• You can choose not to provide us with personal data. You can continue to browse the website, but we will not be able to process transactions without it.
• You can turn off cookies in your browser settings. If you do, you can continue to use the site, but certain services will not work effectively.
• You can ask us not to use your data for marketing. We will tell you before collecting your data if we intend to use it for marketing and whether third parties are involved. You can opt out by emailing privacyofficer@digimaze.io.

• The right to be forgotten, by asking us to erase personal data we hold where it is no longer necessary for your use of Digimaze.
• The right to lodge a complaint about our use of your data. Please tell us first so we have a chance to address your concerns.

We will respond to your request within one month, unless doing so would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others. We will tell you if we cannot meet your request for that reason.

We have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Please remember that no data transmission is guaranteed to be entirely secure, and that you are responsible for keeping your username and password safe. We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, protecting our or others’ interests, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. When personal data is no longer necessary for or compatible with these purposes, it is removed from our systems in accordance with our internal retention policies.

The criteria used to determine retention periods include the length of our ongoing relationship with you, whether processing is consistent with what an average consumer would expect, whether the data is relevant to the provision of our services, whether it has been de-identified or aggregated, and whether we are subject to a legal obligation to retain it.
